This session will give you a complete overview of geothermal technology and how it works in different system types and applications in homes and businesses. We’ll talk about proper sizing using Manual J based programs to get the heat gain/loss calculations as well as using historical energy usage for an existing structure. We will explain sizing of the geothermal energy field and show how computer programs take the guesswork out of it. Case studies with estimated versus actual energy usage, present and future values of system components and accurate energy cost analysis will be shared.
